Using METIS 4.0 in a Visual Studio 2005 C++ Project

I am trying to call METIS_NodeND from a .cpp file in a project under Visual Studio 2005 and I am having some difficulty getting the compiling/linking to work correctly. Could anyone offer some suggestions on how to get this to work?

Also, is it possible to have METIS reorder for reduced fill-ins subject to some ordering constraints? I have a few columns which I would like to force to be on one side of the factored matrix.
