Discriminative Features

Greetings!

Been using Cluto with good results so far, but one stumbling block is the output of discriminative features. It seems that the _absence_ of a given attribute can be just as defining for a cluster as the presence of one, but the output does not seem to indicate which case is true.

Is there any way to resolve this?

Thanks!

RE: Oliver, The only think that

Oliver,

The only think that you can do is to compare the terms in the descriptive and discriminating. If a term is in the first list but not in the second list, then it is probably due to the absence and not the presence. Of course this is a rough approximation....
